Made in Oregon Store

Portland, Oregon 2010

This branch of a retail chain store specializing in Oregon products is located in Concourse D of the Portland International Airport, en route to the international gates. The project called for an interior designed to support a changing display of items, along with some fixed areas to display specialty goods — Oregon wines in particular — and regional foods such as preserved fruits, hazelnuts, and smoked fish.

Constructive Form LLC was brought in by the lead architect, John Cava Architect, to collaborate on the design, coordinate with mechanical/electrical/plumbing and lighting consultants, assist with the Port of Portland process for design review, and help with construction administration. Layout, color, finishes, millwork design, and detailing were worked on within a tight budget and a condensed timeframe for the contractor to complete the construction.
