Riverside Planning Mancos, Colorado 2006
This planning study analyzed potential development strategies for two adjacent lots in the town of Mancos. The area is situated at the corner of two streets with the eastern boundary of both lots fronting the Mancos River. The lots were sites for earlier residences now removed or demolished. The study explored ways of designing indoor and outdoor living areas in the context of privacy between owners, and accommodating the seasonal temperature extremes of the high desert climate while providing access to views and solar benefits.
